About the estate

The family-run estate Marchetti was founded in the last century and is located in the Marche region near Ancona, directed today by Maurizio Marchetti. The estate encompasses a total of 24 hectares of vineyards, divided into 16 hectares for Rosso Conero and 8 hectares for Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi. The cultivated grape varieties primarily include Montepulciano, Sangiovese, and Verdicchio. Harvesting is carried out in multiple passes to ensure grapes are picked at the correct degree of ripeness. In the cellar, the winery combines modern technology with traditional methods such as long maceration periods and aging in wooden barrels.
