About the estate
The Maius Viticultors winery has its origins in a wine shop opened by Manuel Gómez in Sant Cugat del Vallés in 1949, before the family started their own wine production in the Priorat DOQ in 1998. Led by the Gomez Doblado family, the estate operates as a family-run winery with organic production. The name of the brand refers to the royal cloister of the Escaladei monastery. Supported by winemaker Joan Solé, the team carefully oversees the entire process from the vineyard to bottling.
