About the estate
The M&S Bouchet estate is managed by Matthieu and Sylvanie Bouchet, who took over the family vineyard in Montreuil-Bellay in 1990. The operations follow fully biodynamic methods without the use of synthetic chemicals, certified by Ecocert. Natural preparations such as sulfur, Bordeaux mixture, and herbal teas are used to combat diseases when necessary. Vinification takes place in tuffeau cellars, and the wines are aged for a minimum of 18 months in old oak barrels. The grape varieties Cabernet Franc, Chenin, and Grolleau are processed and bottled directly at the winery as Vin de France.
