About the estate
The Luiano estate in San Casciano in Val di Pesa looks back on a history that began in 1959 when Alberto Palombo founded the winery. Today, the business in Tuscany is managed by the family across generations and cultivates twenty hectares of vineyards. The vineyard parcels feature diverse soils and are planted with grape varieties such as Sangiovese, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Alicante. The production focuses on appellations including Chianti Classico DOCG and Toscana IGT. Vinification and aging take place in historic cellars utilizing concrete vats and various types of wooden casks.
The estate sells to importers and distributors. Export markets include France, Austria, Switzerland and Belgium.
