About the estate
The Les Fils de Charles Favre estate was founded in 1944 in Sion, Valais, by Charles Favre and his three sons. This traditional family-run enterprise manages three hectares of vineyards and produces wines under the AOC Valais denomination. The winery gained historical prominence partly through Hanny Favre, who became Switzerland's first female oenologist and shaped the estate's long-term success. Today, descendants of the family continue to cultivate the heritage and vineyards with a dedication to authentic Valais winemaking. In 2023, the winery relocated its headquarters to the heart of Sion, featuring a dedicated tasting space and historic cellars.
