About the estate
The wine estate Le débit d'ivresse cultivates 5 hectares of vineyards in Montner and was established as a negociant business in 2017. The winery operates under European organic certification rules without the use of synthetic fertilizers, herbicides, or pesticides. Vinification takes place at the former cooperative cellar in Montner, which was acquired together with Sylvain Respaut and Olivier Cros. Harvesting is done exclusively by hand, and the winemaking process avoids chemical additives to preserve the natural character of the wine. The portfolio consists of natural wines produced with minimal technical intervention and low levels of sulfites if needed. Luc Devot manages the operations located at 6 avenue du général de Gaulle in Latour de France with the cellar situated on Grande Rue in 66720 Montner. Distribution targets markets focused on organic and natural wines.
