Le Clos des Saumanes

About the estate

The Le Clos des Saumanes estate is located in Châteauneuf-de-Gadagne in the Rhône Valley and is run by Michel, Julie and Bruno Ébé. The vineyards benefit from a remarkable terroir featuring rolled pebbles, sandy-clay soils and a natural holm oak hedge that creates a unique microclimate. The vines have been cultivated under organic farming methods for over ten years to produce expressive and authentic wines. Vinification takes place directly at the estate and relies on traditional approaches with minimal intervention and gentle extractions. The portfolio includes lively and mineral white wines, fresh rosé wines, and aromatic red wines with supple tannins.
