Le Casette

About the estate

The Le Casette estate is located in Castelvetro di Modena in Emilia-Romagna and is run as a family business across generations. The history of the property dates back to 1879, while the Spaggiari family has managed the estate for over 70 years. Across 8.5 hectares of vineyards, grape varieties such as Lambrusco Grasparossa are cultivated, and the entire estate is certified organic. Harvesting is done by hand in small crates, and the wines are produced under the denominations Lambrusco di Castelvetro DOC and Lambrusco Grasparossa di Castelvetro DOP. Production utilizes modern cellar technology for winemaking within the estate's own facilities.
