About the estate
The La Montanina estate is located in the heart of the historic Chianti region in Tuscany and looks back on a long family tradition that began with Agostino Leonini at the end of the 1900s. Following a restructuring and the acquisition of new land, a new winery was built in 2006 in Monti di Sotto, which remains the company headquarters today. The winery is managed by Oretta Leonini, who has shifted production to certified organic agriculture. Operating within the Chianti Classico DOCG denomination, the estate focuses on careful, quality-driven production that respects the surrounding nature.
