About the estate
The La Lama estate covers about eight hectares in the Chianti hills in Castelnuovo Berardenga and was founded in 1969 by Giulio Campani. Today, the winery is managed by the Campani family, with Tiziana Atzeni Campani in charge. The vineyards feature a southwest and southeast exposure as well as silty-sandy soils containing limestone. Work is characterized by manual harvesting and advanced techniques, while aging takes place in an ancient underground cellar using wooden barrels. The portfolio includes wines from the Chianti Classico DOCG and Toscana IGT denominations.
