About the estate
The La Guarda estate was founded in 1970 when Angelo acquired the land on a hill, and it is now run by the family with great passion. The winery is located in Castrezzone di Muscoline in Lombardy and covers a total area of 18 hectares, with nine hectares dedicated to vineyards. The morainic soils mainly consist of sand and stones of various types and shapes. Combined with the dry and consistently breezy climate influenced by nearby Lake Garda, this creates optimal conditions for viticulture. The cultivated grape varieties include Barbera, Groppello, Marzemino, Merlot, Sangiovese, Riesling Renano, and Chardonnay.
