About the estate
The Komjanc Alessio estate is located on the slopes of the hill of San Floriano del Collio in Friuli-Venezia Giulia, carrying on a family tradition that began in the nineteenth century. Founded by Alessio in the nineteen-seventies, the winery is run today with the assistance of his four sons in both the vineyards and the cellar. The estate's vineyards cover twenty-four hectares on soils composed of marl, locally known as Ponca. The portfolio includes indigenous grape varieties such as Friulano, Ribolla Gialla, Malvasia, Picolit, and Schioppettino, alongside international varieties. The grapes are harvested predominantly by hand and vinified to respect the characteristics and aromas of the fruit.
