About the estate
The Kellerei Girlan was founded in 1923 in a historic farmhouse in Eppan an der Weinstraße and looks back on a long winemaking tradition. Today, around 200 winegrower families cultivate 230 hectares of vineyards in the best locations of the Überetsch and Unterland areas. The portfolio of the estate includes historical grape varieties such as Pinot Blanc, Vernatsch, and Pinot Noir, alongside international varieties like Chardonnay and Sauvignon. In the vineyards and cellars, the winery focuses on sustainability, avoids mineral fertilizers, and combines modern cellar technology with historical architecture. The wines reflect the unique character of their origin within the Alto Adige DOC designation.
