About the estate
The Kellerei Bozen winery cultivates 340 hectares of vineyards in the best wine-growing areas of Bolzano at altitudes between 200 and 1000 meters. The 224 members and their families grow a total of 15 grape varieties on a wide variety of soils, including the indigenous varieties Lagrein and Vernatsch. White wines such as Sauvignon and Gewürztraminer originate from the higher altitudes, while red varieties such as Cabernet, Merlot, and Lagrein thrive in the lower areas and the valley floor. The estate combines old and new knowledge regarding vineyard sites and vinification to produce a diverse range of quality wines.
