The Kellerei Bozen estate in South Tyrol cultivates 340 hectares of vineyards in prime locations around Bolzano at altitudes between 200 and 1000 meters. 224 members grow 15 grape varieties on diverse soils, including the indigenous varieties Lagrein and St. Magdalener as well as Sauvignon, Gewürztraminer, Cabernet, and Merlot. The vineyards extend across steep slopes and the valley floor on quickly warming detrital soils and porphyritic rock. These varied locations produce quality wines that reflect the identity and culture of the region.
