About the estate
The Kappler estate, located in Ammerschwihr in Alsace, is run by the third generation and traces its history back to the 1940s when it was founded by Marguerite and Jean Kappler. Today, the winery cultivates 13 hectares of vineyards situated between the plain and the slopes, following responsible environmental practices. The portfolio comprises wines produced from the seven classic grape varieties of the region as well as Crémant d'Alsace, with all production vinified and bottled directly at the estate. Brothers Guillaume and Geoffroy now manage the winery following their studies in viticulture and oenology, succeeding their father Jean-Pierre.
