About the estate

The Jorge Granado Viticultor estate cultivates vineyards located above 800 meters of altitude in the Ribera del Duero region. The old vines grow on sandy-clay soils with a high presence of limestone and are farmed organically. The portfolio centers on Tempranillo, which is complemented by traditional varieties such as Albillo Mayor, Garnacha, and Viura depending on the specific cuvée. Winemaking relies on minimal intervention, fermentations and aging in concrete, amphorae, and wood, as well as foregoing filtration and fining. The winery is also actively engaged in international promotion and export markets.
