The traditional Johann Ruck winery in Iphofen was founded in 1839 by Johann Balthasar Ruck and is managed by the family today. The vineyards extend across significant sites such as the Julius-Echter-Berg, Kronsberg, Kalb, and the Rödelseer locations Schwanleite and Küchenmeister. Grape varieties such as Silvaner, Riesling, Pinot Noir, and Early Burgundy thrive on mineral-rich keuper and limestone soils. The estate focuses on a respectful relationship with nature to craft wines with a distinct terroir character and long-term aging potential.
