About the estate
The family-run estate Joël Taluau et Thierry Foltzenlogel cultivates 32 hectares of vineyards in Saint-Nicolas-de-Bourgueil in the Loire Valley. The vines are predominantly planted on south-facing slopes, featuring sandy gravel soils on the plateau, clay-limestone soils on the hillsides, and mainly limestone soils in the Bourgueil appellation. The estate exclusively cultivates the Cabernet Franc grape variety, producing both lighter, fruitier wines and structured, age-worthy wines. Viticulture practices include grass cover between the vines and soil cultivation, while the winemaking process involves manual or mechanical harvesting, grape sorting, and aging in stainless steel vats as well as tuffeau cellars.
The eno directory lists 2 wines, mostly from Cabernet Franc.
