About the estate
The Jann Marugg estate was founded in 1999 following an expansion of the vineyard zones in the Bündner Herrschaft and is based in Fläsch. The vineyards cover an area of approximately 2.6 hectares in the Fläscher Feld and in the Halde, and are cultivated according to Vinatura guidelines. Five different grape varieties thrive on these plots, with Pinot Noir representing the largest share. Vinification takes place in the converted winepress building of the father in the village, producing around 15,000 bottles of wine per year. Depending on the wine style, the wines mature in steel tanks, large wooden casks, or oak barrels.
