About the estate

The Istenhegyi Borház estate in Rátka produces artisanal wines in small batches using traditional methods and without adding cultured yeasts. The approximately forty-year-old vineyards are located in the Istenhegyi site and are exclusively planted with Furmint. The volcanic soil is characterized by zeolite and rhyolitic lapilli tuff. The portfolio includes both traditionally barrel-aged and reductive wines. The winery aims to share the joy of Tokaj winemaking and the traditions of the region while passing them on to the next generation.
