About the estate
The Il Mottolo winery was established in 2003 by two friends, Sergio Fortin and Roberto Dalla Libera, in the Veneto region of Italy. The estate is situated in a hilly area between the municipalities of Baone and Arquà Petrarca within the Colli Euganei DOC denomination. The property covers a total of eleven hectares, of which 5.5 hectares are dedicated to vineyards while the remainder consists of woods and olive groves. The local soils feature a distinct volcanic origin that imparts freshness, structure, and mineral nuances to the wines. Production focuses on achieving low yields through meticulous vineyard management combined with minimal intervention in the cellar.
