About the estate

The Holzapfel estate, located in Weißenkirchen in the Wachau, is managed in the second generation. Covering approximately 14 hectares of vineyards, the winery cultivates traditional sites such as Achleiten, Vorderseiber, Weitenberg, Klaus and Kollmitz. The portfolio includes the wine styles Steinfeder, Federspiel and Smaragd featuring Grüner Veltliner, Riesling and Pinot Blanc. Vinification is carried out using traditional methods and contact with the fine lees to produce wines with freshness, elegance and a distinct identity. The wines are distributed through a network of retail partners in Austria, Germany, Switzerland and other countries.

The eno directory lists 17 wines, mostly from Grüner Veltliner and Zweigelt. The estate sells to retail and horeca. Export markets include Germany, Switzerland, Czechia and Belgium.
