About the estate

The Hofschneider estate in Mannersdorf a.Leithagebirge in the Carnuntum region is operated as a family business. In 2001, the estate converted its vineyards and agricultural land entirely to organic viticulture. The soils consisting of loess, limestone, and sand, together with the Pannonian climate, provide ideal conditions for cultivation. The vineyards are cultivated carefully and by hand in harmony with nature. The portfolio includes wines from the Carnuntum DAC denomination.

The eno directory lists 16 wines, mostly from Pinot Blanc and Zweigelt.
