The Het Hamerstuk winery is a vineyard and cider maker located in Lent near Nijmegen. The estate operates traditionally, working with the seasons and exclusively using natural, unsprayed ingredients from the local area. Regional flavor contributors such as blackthorn, medlars, and hogweed seeds are incorporated into the production. Pressed apples and grapes serve as natural fertilizer, while limited mowing preserves insects in the tall grass. The producer crafts cider, wine, and other artisanal products with a natural taste.
