About the estate

The Wijnhoeve De Colonjes estate was founded in 2001 by Freek Verhoeven on the southern slopes of the wine village Groesbeek in the Netherlands. With a vineyard area of 13 hectares, the winery is the largest organic vineyard in the country and cultivates thirteen different grape varieties. The portfolio includes white, red, rosé, and sparkling wines, which are produced in the estate's own cellar from grapes grown on rich loess soils. Led by winemaker Adam Dijkstra, the team combines organic viticulture with a strong social mission by working closely with local social partners and volunteers. The resulting wines are recognized for their full-bodied and mineral-rich profile.

The eno directory lists 13 wines, mostly from Cabernet Blanc and Johanniter.
