About the estate

The Heinisch winery is located in Wolfpassing a.d.Hochleithen in the Austrian Weinviertel region and cultivates various sites such as Käferberg, Linzberg, Haide, Ziegelofen, and Atzenberg. The soils are characterized by loess, lime-rich alluvial land, chernozem, and clay, providing the foundation for grape varieties like Grüner Veltliner, Riesling, Merlot, and Pinot Noir. The family-run wine estate has been taken over and expanded with new plantings of Merlot and Pinot Noir. In addition to a variety of white and red wines, the portfolio also includes rosé wines and regional products such as pumpkin seed oil. The wines reflect the distinct characteristics of the different single vineyards and soils within the Lower Austria region.

The eno directory lists 14 wines, mostly from Grüner Veltliner and Pinot Noir. The estate sells to retail.
