About the estate

The Hannes Bergdoll Weine estate is a small, deliberately slow-growing family winery located in Wollmesheim in the Palatinate region. Farming is carried out organically and according to Demeter guidelines with a sustainable focus. In the vineyards, four different soil types including granite, slate, limestone, and variegated sandstone provide distinctive conditions. Harvesting is done by hand, while in the cellar wines are spontaneously fermented and bottled largely unfiltered. The portfolio includes white, red, and rosé wines as a tangible expression of origin and craftsmanship.
