About the estate

The Haindl-Erlacher estate looks back on a long family tradition in Wolkersdorf in the Weinviertel and has been managed by Romana and Walter Erlacher since 2004. The grapes for the wines come exclusively from the estate's own vineyards in sites such as Stixenkreuter and Kühbühel, with Grüner Veltliner forming the main variety. The winery operates close to nature and sustainably with a wide variety of grape sorts, with every step from pruning to bottling carried out by the winemakers themselves. The vinified wines are characterized by clarity, fruit, and elegance. The traditional family business builds upon the pioneering work of the grandparents, who were already bottling quality wine in the 1950s.
