About the estate
The Gurji winery combines ancient Georgian winemaking traditions with advanced technologies developed by leading Italian companies. For fermentation and maturation, the estate utilizes stainless-steel tanks as well as carefully selected oak barrels from America, France, and Slovenia. Depending on the desired style, the wines mature in oak for six to twenty-four months. Specially designed microfiltration and bottling systems protect the wine from oxygen contact and preserve its organoleptic characteristics. Through this approach, the winery creates wines that are both innovative and deeply rooted in history.
