About the estate

The Greil estate in Unterstockstall on the Wagram looks back on a long history and has been run as a family business since 1778. Winemaker Norbert Greil took over the management of the property in 2003 and focuses on making optimal use of naturally available resources. Complex wines such as Grüner Veltliner, Pinot Noir, and Frühroter Veltliner thrive on the deep loess soils. The philosophy of the winery is based on the conviction that wine is created in the vineyard, which is why great importance is attached to manual labor. The portfolio includes wines from the Wagram DAC denomination.
