About the estate
The Tenuta Tremollito estate is located in the province of Catania on the slopes of an extinct volcano at an altitude of about 620 meters. The winery emerged from a renovated, formerly abandoned farmhouse and a revitalized vineyard featuring volcanic, clay, and limestone soils. The wines are produced from autochthonous organic Sicilian grapes that are untreated and fertilized organically. The first harvest took place in 2011 with the support of family and friends. Today, the winery distributes its products under designations including Sicilia DOC and Toscana IGT.
The eno directory lists 2 wines, mostly from Inzolia and Nero d'Avola.
