About the estate
The Gioia Vito estate looks back on a family history that began in 1940 and is now managed in the third generation. The vineyards are located in Sicily at the foot of Montagna Grande, an ancient promontory situated between the sea and the countryside. After studying agriculture in Bologna, the owner returned to his homeland to continue the tradition with a modern vision. The cultivation of the vines focuses on preserving the character of the local terroir and the deep connection to the region. Under the Sicilia DOC denomination, the winery produces wines that reflect the mineral influences of their origin.
