About the estate

The Gebr. Geiger jun. winery in Thüngersheim in Franconia is managed by Hedda and Werner Geiger in the fourth generation. Both studied viticulture and oenology in Geisenheim before taking over the estate from their predecessors in 1993. Since 2017, daughter Maria has represented the next generation in the family business, having completed a business administration degree in Würzburg and further studies in international wine business in Geisenheim. Owner Werner Geiger tends the vineyards with a clear, varietally pure Franconian wine style. The portfolio features authentic wines alongside sparkling Secco and Sekt.
