Über den Betrieb
Das Weingut Gaia Wines wurde im Jahr 1994 gegründet und bewirtschaftet eine Rebfläche von 7 Hektar in Koutsi in der Nemea PDO. Die Gründer, zwei Agrarwissenschaftler, etablierten Standorte in den griechischen Regionen Nemea und Santorini mit Fokus auf die autochthonen Rebsorten Agiorgitiko und Assyrtiko. Das Sortiment umfasst unter anderem Rotweine, Weißweine wie den Thalassitis sowie Schaum- und Naturweine, die traditionelle Methoden mit innovativen Ansätzen wie dem Ausbau in Amphoren oder der Flaschenreifung im Meer verbinden. Die Weine werden international vertrieben und repräsentieren den Charakter der jeweiligen Herkunftsregionen.
Im eno-Verzeichnis sind 22 Weine erfasst, überwiegend aus Agiorgitiko und Assyrtiko.
