About the estate

The organic winery Weinberghof Fritsch in Kirchberg am Wagram cultivates 25 hectares of vineyards that are farmed exclusively biodynamically. The region's name derives from the loess soil that has accumulated over millions of years and shapes the typical regional site-specific wines. Winemaker Karl Fritsch combines proven viticultural tradition with a strong environmental awareness to produce a small selection of outstanding wines. The vineyards are located in the Wagram region, the longest elevation in Lower Austria, which gives the wines their distinctive origin.
