The FRANCESCO MARIANI – Raina estate was founded in 2002 in Montefalco, Umbria, and is managed by Francesco Mariani alongside Andrea Mattioli. The name refers to the former farmer of the lands, which span ten hectares of vineyards. Biodynamic agriculture is practiced in the vineyards planted between 2002 and 2008 at elevations between 220 and 300 meters above sea level. Cultivated grape varieties include Sagrantino, Sangiovese, and Trebbiano Spoletino. All wines are certified as Umbria IGT.
