About the estate
The Fondo Antico Srl Società Agricola winery looks back on a long family tradition in the Sicilian territory of Trapani, where the Polizzotti-Scuderi family has tended the land since the early nineteenth century. Following decades of delivering grapes to local cooperatives, the estate brought its entire production into the family cellar in 1995 under the guidance of Giuseppe Polizzotti. Today, the winery cultivates 80 hectares of vineyards in Contrada Portelli and distributes its wines to an international audience. The estate combines traditional winemaking heritage with modern research and environmental commitment through the reduction of phytosanitary treatments.
