About the estate
The Flatio estate has been run for generations by the Fraccaroli family in the heart of Valpolicella Classica in San Pietro in Cariano. The history of the winery began in 1946 with grandfather Giovanni and was continued by father Mario and today by son Flavio and sister Daniela. The business cultivates eight hectares of vineyards situated in hilly, foothill, and flat areas between Valpolicella and Bardolino, trained using the traditional Veronese pergola system. Harvesting is carried out exclusively by hand, followed by meticulous vinification in the estate cellar. The portfolio features the classic wines of the region such as Amarone Classico, Recioto Classico, Ripasso, and Valpolicella Classico Superiore.
