About the estate
The natural wine project Finca Obskura based in Vienna was founded in 2023 and has been farming its own vineyards in Neustift am Walde since 2024. On the Vienna hillsides, over 40-year-old Grüner Veltliner, Riesling, and Chardonnay vines are tended entirely by hand using organic and biodynamic practices. In the cellar, the Finca Obskura estate pursues a minimal intervention approach with spontaneous fermentations, small batches, old barrels, and no additives. The founders, who have roots in Argentina, combine winemaking traditions to produce vibrant and precise wines from the heart of Vienna.
