About the estate
The family winery Filipe Palhoça was founded in 1950 by Filipe Jorge Palhoça in the Península de Setúbal wine region, building upon roots in a small cellar belonging to his father. Today, the estate manages a total of 112 hectares of vineyards distributed across eleven properties located in Poceirão, Fernando Pó, and Marateca. The sandy soils and the microclimate tempered by the Tagus and Sado rivers provide optimal conditions for cultivating local grape varieties such as Arinto, Castelão, and Fernão Pires, alongside international varieties. In 1984, the family built a modern winery at Quinta da Invejosa, where they began bottling wine under their own brand in the mid-1990s.
The estate sells to horeca.
