About the estate
The Fattoria di Vegi estate is located in the heart of Chianti in Castellina in Chianti and looks back on a long history that began in the twelfth century as a medieval watchtower. After passing through various owners, including the Squarcialupi and Chiostri families, the historic property was restored by the Boomsma family. Surrounded by vineyards and olive groves on the surrounding hills, the winery is dedicated to viticulture with hand-harvested grapes in harmony with the rhythms of the seasons. Wine forms the heart of the estate, which operates as an agricultural property and produces wines under the Chianti Classico DOCG denomination.
