About the estate
The Fattoria Corzano e Paterno belongs to the Gelpke and Goldschmidt families, tracing its origins back to 1971 when Swiss architect Wendelin Gelpke purchased the historic estate. Later in 1974, the neighboring Fattoria Paterno was added, bringing the total estate size to two hundred hectares. Today, the vineyards cover twenty hectares in Tuscany, producing wines under the Chianti Classico DOCG and Toscana IGT denominations. Alongside winemaking, the estate is dedicated to the production of olive oil and artisanal sheep's cheeses.
