About the estate

The Famille DENIS estate looks back on a century of history in Cléré-sur-Layon within the Loire Valley and has been managed across generations. The traditional winery cultivates vineyards on a geologically diverse terroir consisting of green and grey schists, pink granulites, and eruptive rocks. These plots yield distinctive white, red, and rosé wines alongside sweet liquoreux, Crémants de Loire, and alcohol-free sparkling beverages. The cultivated grape varieties include Chenin Blanc, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Grolleau gris and noir. For vineyard management and cellar work, the estate relies on sustainable, environmentally conscious practices.
