Etruscaia

About the estate

The Etruscaia estate in Tarquinia, Lazio, was founded in 2008 by Lamberto and Olga following years of amateur winemaking and research. The vineyards originated from an experimental project conducted in collaboration with the University of Pisa to study various clones and grape varieties. The underground cellar is designed as a tribute to Etruscan architecture, featuring local stone and tufa walls. Under the guidance of winemaker Mourad Ouada, the estate follows organic farming practices, achieving certification in 2018. The production includes Syrah, Sangiovese and Merlot blends, rosé wines, and white varieties such as Malvasia and Viognier.
