About the estate
The El Grifo winery is one of the oldest wine estates in Spain, with a history dating back to 1775. The vineyards are located on the volcanic island of Lanzarote within the Lanzarote DO denomination, where vines are cultivated in a landscape shaped by lava and ash. The historic estate preserves old Moscatel vines and historical facilities that now serve as a wine museum. Production combines traditional methods with modern cellar technology such as stainless steel tanks and cooling equipment. The portfolio includes wines produced from grape varieties such as Malvasía Volcánica and Moscatel.
