About the estate

The Eigl estate has been cultivating its vineyards around Joching in the Wachau region for generations with a focus on nature, craftsmanship, and history. Deeply rooted in the region, the family relies on sustainable practices, hand-harvesting, and careful management of every grape until bottling. As a member of Vinea Wachau, the winery produces straightforward, clear, and complex wines on primary rock soils that reflect the character of the steep slopes. In addition to winemaking, the family maintains direct contact with guests and customers through their own enotheka and traditional wine tavern.
