About the estate

The Ecker winery in Unterstockstall is run as a family business by Margit and Karl in the fourth generation. The estate comprises nearly eight hectares of vineyards in the Wagram wine region. The main grape variety is Grüner Veltliner, complemented by Frühroter Veltliner, Chardonnay, Riesling, Gelber Muskateller, and Blaues Zweigelt for red wines. The wines derive their independent style from the vineyard soils and the local microclimate. Cultivation focuses on producing wines with a distinct character.
