About the estate

The Dungel estate in Leobersdorf in the Thermenregion looks back on a history dating back to 1926, when the business was officially registered as a traditional wine tavern. Today, the family-run enterprise is managed by Reinhard Dungel, who took over the estate from his grandfather in 2007 and qualified as a certified cellar master. Over the years, the cultivated vineyard area has been expanded to a total of five hectares. The portfolio comprises various quality and predicate wines, including regional classics such as Chardonnay and Zweigelt. In addition to wine production, the estate is widely known for its traditional tavern offering warm dishes.

The eno directory lists 27 wines, mostly from Chardonnay and Zweigelt. The estate sells to horeca and retail. Export markets include Germany.
