About the estate

The Dominikanerweingut C. von Nell-Breuning estate cultivates eight hectares of vineyards located in steep slate sites of the Ruwer valley. The history of the traditional family-run winery dates back to the seventeenth century. Today, Dr. Carmen von Nell-Breuning manages the estate in the eleventh generation. All vineyards are farmed by hand and cultivated according to biodynamic principles. For vinification, the winery relies on spontaneous fermentation and extended yeast contact.

The eno directory lists 22 wines, mostly from Riesling and Pinot Noir. The estate sells to retail.
